Last month sempat jln2 area Damansara..cam dah lama tak hang out kat sana...
Sampai kat The Curve, jumpa satu kedai yg agak ramai lah pengunjungnya. So kitorang find outlah..rupa-rupanya ada satu restoran indonesian food, just small restaurant around the corner.
(Near the first floor connection bridge to Ikano Power Centre)
Special meals here is Ayam Penyet, so lets check it out how its looks like...
This is the Ayam penyet set with hot and spicy sambal (RM 7.90)
Gado-gado (RM 5.90)
Menu is provided with variety of food to choose.. There also have ayam panggang, bakso, gado-gado etc.
Ini pulak menu for drinks..Cuba tengok betul-betul ejaan Es means ais...He..he..he
and this is my Es Milo Dinosour. You should also try Jus Alpukat, sedap jugak...
FYI, when you came here, pelayan restoran akan beri kertas menu dan pensel. Selepas kita buat pilihan, kertas menu tuh perlu diberi kepada cashier and payment should also be made too. Then they will give us table number, so we just wait for them to serve the food.
Payment and order at cashier counter...
This is my first time eating Ayam Penyet, so i dont know how it taste for other restaurants which serve Ayam Penyet too. But for those who love an Indonesian Food, you must try this!
Beside of the good taste of the food, personally i think that the price is also reasonable...
Small map shows where the restaurant is located.
Do give it a try when you're around the area and if you love fried chicken and spicy sambal, this is definitely a place to be..

Restoran Rebung
This restaurant is a bungalow house situated at Lorong Maarof, Bangsar. Actually i choose this restaurant to celeb8 my husband birthday...because he love "traditional" kind of food...
We choose for the buffet set (lunch hour) which cost us RM 35 per pax. Buffet style malay foods are nicely arranged at one corner.
But i would like to recommend you to make an earlier reservation because during weekend is usually full.. There are an air-conditioned room but we choose to dine outside. The Malay foods are tasty and delicious, sangat sesuwaiiii untuk mereka yg sukakan masakan kampung...
Here i share some photo of food and decor at the restaurant.
sebahagian koleksi pinggan mangkuk yg terdapat di restoran rebung.
some of traditional origin food served @ the restaurant.
my hubby choice - "cucur udang" & "goreng pisang" and also fresh orange!
desserts like sago gula melaka, cakes, "agar-agar", "kuih lopes" with other malay traditional kueh are serve inside the air-conditioned dining room.
